Jaclyn is an accomplished musician and music teacher. She started her musical career on piano at 5 years of age. She performed with the Colorado Childrens Chorale and attended the Denver School of the Arts as a cello major before obtaining her BA in Cello Performance as well as a BME (music education) from MSUD. She is currently the Director Of Elementary Orchestra’s for Westminster Public Schools. One of her focusses has been music therapy and the therapeudic use of music to enrich lives.
She has been able to identify and produce music that is especially soothing to seniors with Alzheimers or other forms of Dementia and has even recorded music that was written in the 1950’s by one of our clients.
